Writer's Tools 0.7.1 released

Writer's Tools has reached version 0.7.1. This release features an improved version of the Timer tool (Start/Stop Timer). Now you can save the time data (document name, used time, and date) in the accompanying WriterDB database. Using the database, you can quickly find out how much time you spent on a particular document in general and on any given day. Perfect for writers and professional alike who bill by hour. The new version also adds a simple Word Hunt game, where you have to guess the word randomly picked by Writer.

This is another nice update. Only one thing: The timer doesn't appear to display anywhere. It would be nice if it displayed the running timer, maybe along the bottom or somewhere else on the OOo window. This would make the timer more useful to writers because we could see how we're progressing toward our goal of an hour a day (or whatever).

Seeing how long a session was at the end of a session is useful. Being able to monitor the timer would be even more useful.

Keep up the great work!

Thank you for your kind words! A "timer ticker" is indeed a good idea. I've added it to the project's issue tracker as a feature request.

Cool. I look forward to seeing it.

It would also be nice if the timer ticker could be paused if I have to step away for a little while.
